Summer Gaycation Getaway: Mont Tremblant

Who knew you could have a summer gaycation getaway in Mont Tremblant?!☀️

Mont Tremblant has always been one of my favourite winter gaycation getaways; Skiing, skating, dog sledding and cosy winter nights by the fire. I’ve never been to Mont Tremblant during the summer because my family and friends for some reason always acknowledged it as a go-to winter destination. We were absolutely wrong. I discovered that Mont Tremblant has so much more to offer during the summer than winter and I was shocked at how many things you can do without snowy hills and cold temperatures.

Here are reasons why you should consider Mont Tremblant for your next summer gaycation getaway:

Zip lining in Mont Tremblant

By far, my most favourite thing at Mont Tremblant this summer was zip lining with Ziptrek Ecotours Tremblant! I’ve been zip lining before in British Columbia across bodies of water, but never have I ever been zip lining down mountains and through the clouds. It was such an adrenaline rush on this 5 line tour that zips you from the summit of the mountain down to the resort. The views and selfies from zip lining were incredible! 5 STARS! ⭐

Gondola Ride in Mont Tremblant

If you’re afraid of heights or don’t like an adrenaline rush, you can still look at beautiful views from the summit of Mont Tremblant in a Gondola Ride! Make your way to the top of Mont Tremblant Summit in the panoramic gondola and discover the spectacular scenery from the highest peak in the Laurentians.

Food in Mont Tremblant

Mont Tremblant is filled with tasty gourmet food and authentic Canadian cuisine! From delicious chicken and salmon to poutine and beaver tails, the food at Mont Tremblant will send your taste buds on a journey!

Bon Appétit! 😍

Canoeing in Mont Tremblant

Mont Tremblant also has a National Park which happens to be an amazing spot for canoeing! I had never been canoeing before but it was fairly easy, so if you’re new to canoeing, you’ll be fine canoeing down the river of Mont Tremblant National Park!

Hiking in Mont Tremblant‍

If you love nature, the sound of water, and beautiful trails then you’ll love hiking in Mont Tremblant! There are many trails available near the Mont Tremblant resort, but also so many more trails to hike just outside the resort in Mont Tremblant National Park. If you can find your way to Chute du Diable (Diable Waterfall), I highly recommend the hiking trails there!

Biking in Mont Tremblant‍

Mont Tremblant has a beautiful multifunctional trail which is an 11.4 km paved path from Tremblant Resort to the Village. The trail has free access and is ideal for biking, but could also be used for walking and in-line skating. Biking is one of the cheapest activity options available at Mont Tremblant and there’s a bike shop that offers a variety of bikes to use! I got to use an electric bike which was so much fun being able to power through hills at top speed!

Spa in Mont Tremblant

While at Mont Tremblant, your vacation won’t be complete with a trip to the Scandinave Spa Mon-Tremblant! 4-hours is plenty enough time to sit back, relax, and enjoy your stay. You can’t take your phone or camera into the spa, so these photos were given to me to use to show how beautiful this place really is! It’s perfect for couples, best friends or even with family! I’d recommend bringing something to read as there’s lots of time to relax by the water, in a hammock or in the cocoon areas.

Yoga in Mont Tremblant️

This summer at Mont Tremblant there will be a Wanderlust Yoga weekend retreat! I haven’t been, but I’ve been told that the Wanderlust Yoga retreats are truly amazing, relaxing and inspiring. There’s multi-level yoga, meditation sessions, inspiring lectures, workshops, and outdoor activities like on the beautiful Lake Tremblant and a meditative hike amidst whimsical nature beauty. Hopefully I’ll attend a Wanderlust Yoga trip one day!

Hope this list of 8 things to do in Mont Tremblant this summer has inspired you! I had such an amazing 3 days in Mont Tremblant and I can’t wait to travel back to Mont Tremblant during the winter time and show you guys what Mont Tremblant has to offer for a winter getaway! ☃️
