WHAT I COVER IN THIS ARTICLE:
Best Gay Bars and Gay Clubs To Visit in Fort Lauderdale
There are SO many gay bars & clubs in Fort Lauderdale, and most blog posts cover them all. But when I went to Fort Lauderdale for the weekend, I really only had time to visit maybe 2 a night?
In my short time in Fort Lauderdale, I really wanted to know the top gay bars and clubs to visit. So my local gay friends took me to these 4 places for a variety of different “gay scenes” and music atmosphere. And they were all so much fun and had different crowds (aka men) at each of them.
So, if you’re looking for a night out in Gay Fort Lauderdale, here are my fave picks for Best Gay Bars and Clubs you should visit! All the gay bars & clubs are in the same area, aka drunk walking distance from each other 😉
1. DrYnk – Bar & Lounge
Address: 2255 Wilton Dr, Wilton Manors, FL
Drynk is the first stop to a fun night! This gay bar is a very chill bar with a beautiful back patio to lounge, hangout with your friends or meet locals, and drink delicious cocktails.
Drinks at Drynk are average priced, but if you’re not into spending money on good cocktails and prefer cheaper alcohol options, head to the next two spots below.
2. Georgie’s Alibi / Monkey Bar
Address: 2266 Wilton Dr, Wilton Manors, FL
Georgie’s Alibi / Monkey Bar was the first ever gay bar I went to in my first night in Fort Lauderdale. I had already pre-drank at my hotel, and this was the first stop at 11pm.
Georgie’s Alibi has multiple rooms to dance as well as a big outside area to drink, smoke and socialize, which was nice; since I was able to have conversations with locals without having to talk over loud music.
The best part of this gay bar is definitely the affordable drinks, quick service
3. Hunters Night Club
Address: 2232 Wilton Dr, Fort Lauderdale, FL
Hunters is a gay Bar & Night Club with more nudity involved… if you know what I mean 😉 There were a lot of naked videos on screens and naked bodies on the dance floor.
The night I went to Hunter was a “Leather Daddy night” apparently, so I definitely stuck out like a young twig amongst all the cute silver foxes and bears. The music was really good, and it was packed!
The best part of this gay night club is definitely the music and if you’re into daddies or bears. Unfortunately, it’s not a spot you’d take your lesbian or straight besties to dance, whereas the monkey bar is!
4. The Manor Complex
Address: 2345 Wilton Dr, Wilton Manors, FL
Oh boy… how do I describe the Manor Complex. Well first of all, it’s a HUGE night club for the LGBTQ community. There’s many stages in large open rooms; like a warehouse club!
The Manor is the best gay night club I’ve been to in a long time, and it’s definitely where you go to end your night. There’s usually a cover (i believe mine was $10), and also a line to get in, because it’s where everyone ends up on a weekend night.
Near the end of the night, definitely check out The Manor Complex for an absolutely fabulous night out at a gay club in Fort Lauderdale!
All in all, these are the top gay bars and gay clubs that I could honestly say I had an amazing time at during Pride Fort Lauderdale. And in my opinion, worthy of checking out if you’re in the city for 1 night or for the weekend!
