The Toronto Pride parade holds a special place in my lil gay heart because it was the first ever pride I attended (while still in the closet) when I was 20. Attending my first pride parade was SO crucial for me to understand that it was okay to be gay, and really paved the road towards acceptance of who I was. Toronto Pride was also my first pride parade that I ever got to walk in, which has always been a dream of mine. You could say I lost both pride virginities for attending and walking in Toronto Pride and it was the best decision of my gay life. #NoRegrets 🌈
